For some time now Nigerian students have been at home following the nationwide Asuu strike. University staff and workers engaged in a strike to call the attention of the federal government to implement their agreement with Asuu in 2011. After months of redundancy in the academic system of the nation and deliberations between Asuu and the FG, the nationwide Asuu strike is called off today Wednesday 1st February, 2012.

Smile comes on faces of Nigerian students hearing that the parasitic Asuu strike is called off. "At last, it's time to go back to Ogba" says one enthusiastic student in Lagos.
